CarMax Oxnard
Jauregui & Culver, Inc. provided submittals and drawings of the proposed fuel system necessary for CUPA, Fire Department, and Air Quality agency permitting. We furnished and installed a complete gasoline fuel system that included one 4,000 double wall fiber glass underground storage tank, fuel dispenser, below ground fueling, vapor return and tank vent piping, under dispenser containment, vent transition containment, an enhanced vapor recovery system, and a vapor root monitoring system. This required excavation, disposal of excavated soil, gravel back-fill materials meeting manufacturer specifications, crane, and back-filling operations. The new dispenser was calibrated and brought to compliance and Enhance Leak Detection was provided.
Carmax Escondido
Jauregui & Culver, Inc. installed a complete fuel system which included permits for San Diego County Environmental Health (DEH), San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and City of Escondido fire department. a 4,000 gallon double wall fiber glass tank, fuel dispenser, and piping for the below-ground fuel, vapor return, and tank vent. Recovery (EVR) system and a Veeder Root monitoring system were also installed. Calibration for the new dispenser, and regulatory compliance Enhance Leak Detection (ELD) testing were also provided.
Port of Long Beach
Jauregui & Culver, Inc. installed an above ground storage tank system, above ground gasoline storage tank system, diesel dispensing system, gasoline dispensing system, and petroleum monitoring system. We provided SCAQMD and fire department permits and approvals required for fueling systems, all required testing, start up and training. Rigging and hoisting were performed as required. Sam’s Club El Monte #6614
Jauregui & Culver, Inc. installed a complete fuel system at Sam’s Club #6614 Bakersfield. We excavated and installed two 20,000 gallon 87 gasoline and one 20,000 gallon split 12,000/8,000 10′ diameter Xerxes Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and deadmen.
We installed Fiberglass, APT, and steel piping to compile the fueling system, including trenching and gravel back-fill. Two 3+1 gas/diesel dispensers and four 3+0 gas dispensers were installed, including the Under Dispenser Containment (UDC) basins, dispenser hanging hardware, and dispenser valance. Brine and vacuum tubing for the Veeder Root continuous monitoring and Pressure and Flow sensors in dispenser for the In Station Diagnostics (ISD). The Healy Clean Air Separator (CAS) was installed as part of the EVR II system.
We provided required Enhanced Leak Detection (ELD) testing of the fuel system at the conclusion of the installation of the fueling system and prior to opening. All fuel lines were purged and the dispensers and calibrated, completing this project.
Sam’s Club Sacramento #4760
The closure of Sam’s Club Sacramento #4760 necessitated the removal of two 20,000 gallon unleaded regular underground storage tank (UST) and one 20,000 gallon split 12,000/8,000 gallon Unleaded Super underground storage tank. Jauregui & Culver, Inc. was contracted to do the following work. Concrete slabs, vapor return, and vent piping were removed and lawfully disposed.
Under the direction of the county CUPA and local Fire agency we removed the UST and piping from the trenches and lawfully disposed. The tanks were washed and degassed with all wash materials manifested and disposed of lawfully.
The excavation and piping trenches were backfilled and compacted with clean fill materials and gravel to 90% compaction.
