Our Story

img_0619Jauregui & Culver, Inc. is a family owned and operated general engineering contractor specializing in fuel station construction; including UST and AST system designs, installations, removals, remediation, regulatory upgrades, secondary containment repairs, compliance testing, and service station maintenance.

Peter Jauregui Sr. became a pipe fitter in 1957 working for Redford & Sons. He later founded the company in 1969. He hand dug trenches for fuel piping and installation of underground storage tanks (UST) for fuel stations throughout Southern California.

Dedicated to hard work and quality installations, the company quickly earned a reputation for excellence among petroleum industry professionals. Customers rely on JCI to meet the ever-changing environmental standards, which mandates strict regulations on underground tanks and piping systems.

In 1987 John Culver (son-in-law) partnered with Peter Jauregui Sr. to become Jauregui & Culver. They were then joined by sons Peter Jauregui II, Matt Jauregui, and Jim Jauregui.

Jauregui & Culver was incorporated in 1995.

Jauregui & Culver, Inc. continues to be an industry leader in the ever evolving petroleum industry, and prides itself in keeping its hands on work ethic. We are committed to providing the extra attention needed to achieve a high quality product, on time, and at a fair price. This dedication, taught by Peter Jauregui Sr., is survived through his family’s current leadership and will press on to the future generations of the company.
