Sam’s Club La Quinta #4941
The closure of Sam’s Club La Quinta 4941 necessitated the removal of two 20,000 gallon unleaded regular underground storage tank (UST) and one 20,000 gallon split 12,000/8,000 gallon Unleaded Super underground storage tank. Jauregui & Culver, Inc. was contracted to do the following work: concrete slabs, vapor return, and vent piping were removed and lawfully disposed.
Under the direction of the county CUPA and local Fire agency we removed the UST and piping from the trenches and lawfully disposed. The tanks were washed and degassed with all wash materials manifested and disposed of lawfully.
The excavation and piping trenches were backfilled and compacted with clean fill materials and gravel to 90% compaction.
